Beloit, WI - On behalf of the Midwest League, seven Beloit Snappers have been named 2012 Midwest League All-Stars.  The Snappers will place one starting position, three reserve position players, and three pitchers to the Midwest League team to play in the MWL All-Star Classic on June 19 in Geneva, Illinois.

The following Beloit Snapper has been named a starter in the 2012 Western Division All-Star squad:

-      3B Miguel Sano- San Pedro de Macoris, DR

The following three Snappers have been named reserves for the 2012 Western Division All-Star squad:

-   OF Jhon Goncalves -Bejuma, Carabobo, Venezuela

-   INF Tyler Grimes - Andale, KS

-   INF Eddie Rosario- Guayama, Puerto Rico

The following three Snappers have been named pitchers for the 2012 Western Division All-Star squad:

- RHP A.J. Achter -Oregon, OH

- RHP Michael Tonkin -Palmdale, CA

- LHP Jason Wheeler- Torrance, CA

The Kane County Cougars are hosting the 2012 MWL All-Star Classic at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.  The coaching staffs from the Kane County Cougars and the Lansing Lugnuts will coach the Western Division and Eastern Division squads, respectively.
